I am the Marine Corps 4-YR NROTC Scholarship Coordinator and I am reaching out to encourage your eligible students to apply for this amazing scholarship that allows students to go attend college directly after high school (or after deferment for religious mission) and serve as officers in the military after graduation. This scholarship is worth over $180,000 depending on the university they attend and is offered at over 100 different public and private universities across the nation. For perspective, I have attached some of the winners from last year across my area.

There are two selection boards, however I encourage students to apply ASAP to be considered for EARLY BOARD in October, and if they cannot make that deadline, get ahead of the Jan final deadline/reboard. The biggest mistake that most students make is they DO NOT FIINISH THEIR APPLICATION even though historically roughly 30% of those who do will win the scholarship. Many students do not even realize the military would be a viable career option until they find out about this scholarship, so encourage your top students no matter their military interest to at least look into opportunities such as this one.
