Here are some Marine Corps career opportunities. Specifically, since it is Scholarship season, I am looking for students to apply for the 4-Year NROTC Scholarship. As the scholarship coordinator for Utah, and almost all of Idaho and Nevada, despite this being a near full-ride scholarship, I am always surprised how few students apply for this opportunity. I won’t say the number, but last year very few people applied but of those who did, over 1/3 won the scholarship. Many students simply do not know about this opportunity or have never even considered how the military could align with their career goals. I also would highly recommend students of a diverse background to apply for the sub-scholarships as well which will increase their chances of winning (see last slides of the powerpoint). In addition, while there is plenty of time to them to apply before the Regular Board Deadline, I have found that students are more successful if they apply and prepare as soon as possible.

Your local Marine recruiters are also able to do in-person presentations to students/classes about opportunities such as these which I have found the most effective way to promote them, so please reach out to them or me and to learn of other ways we can best support your school!
